...for the perfect wedding venue! All brides are apprehensive about their big day, but from the moment I arrived the day before the wedding, I felt like all the stress had been lifted from me by Anna the Wedding Coordinator, who took care of everything - nothing was too much trouble. The venue is so picturesque and really has the wow factor, as soon as you turn the corner of the driveway and see the stunning building ahead, which is perfect for photograph backdrops. The interior and grounds of the hotel are also very grand. Mark Greatbatch, Toastmaster, is such an asset. His pleasant and professional manner was commented on by so many of our guests. He made the day run smoothly and did a fantastic job of whipping the guests into a frenzy for our entrances, which were the highlight of our wedding! The wedding breakfast couldn't have been any better. The food was excellent and the serving staff were well organised and courteous. The Duty Manager in the evening was also very helpful. Despite managing countless weddings, the Down Hall team still made ours feel so special - we felt like King and Queen for the day. You can have every confidence in the professional team here.

We always knew that we wanted a Master of Ceremonies at our Wedding and we also always knew that we would probably go with whichever one Down Hall recommended.
What we didn't know was that Mark Greatbatch, the Master of Ceremonies at Down Hall was the best in the country. Although Down Hall is a stunning venue and the staff very professional and well organised, the wedding would not have gone so smoothly without the services of Mark. He is sociable, funny, discreet, reassuring, on-the-ball, one step ahead of everyone else and all round one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

My Perfect Wedding Day!
We cannot thank Down Hall enough for making our day perfect. Anna was extremely professional, flexible and organised... but most importantly lovely and personable, whose only interest was to ensure we were 100% happy at all times. The pre-planning is thorough and detailed which meant the day ran smoothly with no hiccups. Mark the Toastmaster was a legend! Our guests loved him and we felt secure he was managing our day. We honestly didn't worry about a thing. The food was lovely, staff were professional and courteous. Without any hesitation I would recommend Down Hall as the perfect Wedding Venue.

The service provided by all the staff, especilly the Master of Ceremonies Mark, on the day was exceptional, my husband and I had absolutely nothing to worry about, as everything was in hand and very well organised, and nothing was a problem. The team at Down Hall are very professional and looked after us and our guests every step of the way. My husband and I would recommend Down Hall to anybody who is thinking of having their wedding there. One of the reasons why we chose Down Hall, besides the venue itself, was that your wedding is the only wedding, so giving you that exclusivity and one of the most important things a bride wants, is the one on one personal touch, which is what Down Hall provide.

Having had a wonderful wedding on March 6th, my daughter and I were delighted with all the help you and you team gave us, my wife and I popped in on Sunday for Tea. If you ever need a toastmaster for your wedding then mark is your man. he made the whole day run so smoothly and we never had to worry about a thing, a superb professional :))
Mark, you really did make the whole day run so smoothly and the only thing we would have asked you to have done was to slow the whole day down as it went way to quickly lol, but that’s about the only thing you couldn’t do, but as I said everything else was amazing, so thanks again Mark, we will recommend you to anyone we know who is getting married in the future.
